Optimization of the All-Wheel Drive System for a Rapid Intervention Vehicle
Transmission EngineeringA specialized vehicle for interventions in areas with limited access requires an all-wheel drive system capable of instantly distributing engine torque between axles, dynamically adapting to variations in terrain grip. We developed a mechatronic system with electronic control, integrated with rotation and pressure sensors, which ensures optimal traction in any conditions, from sandy terrain to steep slopes. The result was a 40% improvement in off-road capability and a reduction in intervention time in critical scenarios.
